Since 2002 Jones Ranch have produced and marketed Angus and more recently, Red Angus bulls through our cooperator relationship with our long-time friends, Donnell & Kelli Brown of R.A. Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, Texas. Brown/JR prefix bulls have started and topped several of the biannual sales that take place the 2nd Wednesday of each March and October. This arrangement allows us to maintain meaningful contemporary groups while collecting data for economically relevant traits like feed efficiency, docility and foot structure. Several of our young sires have been included in the structured carcass progeny testing programs.
